My name's Monika (Monia) and I'm the owner of Petals & Berry.
I live with my hubby and daughter in a South London home that I constantly renovate. I started P&B as a hobby that allowed me to relax and nourish my creative nature. My mother taught me  how to hand embroider and my  father how to sew. Embroidery has always been a significant part of my life as I was born in Poland, where this skill is still passed down by the generations.
After my daughter was born, I decided to go full time and all the products that I've created were initially made for my little one.
My business has started to expand organically and demand for my products overcame my capacity. That's why some of my embroidery is now done by a machine. I either hand draw the embroidery designs and digitilise them or purchase them from a different artist.

I offer only super soft Baltic linen, so luxurious you won't want to buy any other fabric. I love linen, it's the most sustainable fabric in the world and healthy for our skin. However, that's not the only reason it's so close to my heart. My grandfather used to grow it and I was brought up with so many stories about how he created this luxurious fabric with his own hands.
